Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization

Bridgeway & Beyond is a 13 bed residential Transitional Living Program for single women with children who are homeless or living in unsafe or unstable environments.
Bridgeway is dedicated to restoring hope through caring and loving relationships. We believe that people have the power to change and that each person that comes through our program has strengths. Through loving relationships, grace and accountability we work with mothers to move towards their personal goal of becoming empowered to lead a healthier life for themselves and their children.
Trisha's House Mothers who have stayed at Bridgeway have the opportunity to move into a two-family home. This is a stepping stone towards more independence and accountability through case management and support.
Sheboygan Farmer’s Market makes available fresh local products directly from farmers to residents. Working to help local farmers remain vibrant, educate the community on healthy eating, and provide a social experience that helps build the community.
Family Pathways supervised visitation program provides visitation and exchange services between custodial and non-custodial parents. Staff help to ensure a safe and secure setting for the child(ren), free from parental conflict.

Core Values
Our core values are respect, compassion, collaboration, and service.
History
Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization was established in 1989. We are an association of faith communities founded for the purpose of providing programs for people who have fallen through the cracks of society. Volunteers and staff work together in an environment of mutual respect for each others beliefs to provide for the common good of those we serve. Theological differences do not interfere with the important work that needs to be done. We focus on our shared values rather than our differences. We believe it is our calling to lift up those that struggle to help themselves. Our programs offer a "hands-up" rather than a hand out. We truly do bridge the gap between community needs and resources.
SCIO is funded by grants, foundations, faith communities, individuals, and The United Way of Sheboygan County
