Highlights in this week's Community Update:
- DOUBLE YOUR DOLLAR! This week leading up to the PATH Golf Day on Friday, June 19 - a generous anonymous donor is matching all donations to our Providing Access To Healing (PATH) program. This means anyone can support this program by joining us on the golf course for the PATH Golf Day and/or give directly online at https://uwofsc.rallyup.com/pathgolfday.
- UWSC Fiscal Year & Campaign End: Thanks to the generosity of our community members and businesses, 2019-2020 Campaign will provide $1.67 million dollars to support 40 partner agency programs, 2 community impact initiatives, and other community programming such as the Volunteer Center, Food for Tomorrow, and 2-1-1 Resource Center. (WOW!) This doesn't include the additional $215,000 donated by community members to support local nonprofits serving the immediate needs of community members impacted by COVID-19!
- UWSC Reorganization Update: The position of Volunteer Center & Database Specialist was eliminated due to a reorganization of staff at United Way of Sheboygan County. Lee Anne Raleigh's more than four years of service at UWSC does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for all she has done for you United Way and supporting the nonprofit community. UWSC's Volunteer Center will continue to serve the social sector with new efficiencies and staff have already begun planning for 2020 Day of Caring in September. New contact information for the Volunteer Center is included in this section of the update.
