Volunteer Opportunities From: Volunteer Center of Sheboygan County

We are seeking a few volunteers to help bag cookies for the Gingerbread Festival at the Waelderhaus in Kohler.

This would be a great opportunity for a youth group or scout group!

We give out cookies at our gingerbread festival and we need your help preparing them!

We ask that you would wear gloves while handling the cookies, put them in bags, and seal the bags. 

(some cookies might be really broken and then you could have a little snack!)

Water is provided.

Volunteers are needed daily to keep the refreshments table stocked with punch and cookies, to assist with the Make & Take Kids' Crafts, to greet visitors as Bruce the Spruce, and more during Sheboygan County Museum's annual Holiday Memories exhibit. Consider volunteering a few hours of time to help with this popular holiday event that attracts over 8000 visitors in just a few short weeks!

Each year, the Museum celebrates the holiday season with our Holiday Memories exhibit. Continuing the tradition of animated department store window displays, the Museum features an exhibit utilizing mechanized pieces from the H.C. Prange, Younkers, and Boston Store of Sheboygan, along with decorating the two historic homes on the property. Additional activities include visiting with Bruce the Spruce, riding vintage Garton Toys, creating a Make & Take project, finding hidden scavenger hunt items in the historic Taylor House, and more!

Volunteer shifts are available from November 28 through December 30 (closed Dec 24-25). Volunteer shifts are typically 2-3 hours long, with weekday and weekend availability, as well as opportunities to volunteer during the day, afternoon, or evening.

Join us to help fulfill and ship orders from our BBBS Holiday Shop Gift Catalog.  Pull items, box and make a run to the post office.  You won't believe how helpful a few hours of your time will be! 

We will have 2 hour shifts open every Wednesday from Oct 29 - Dec 17. 9-11am, 2-4pm and 530-730pm.

Donate new, unwrapped items to help make the holidays special for Club kids in need!
