The Handyman Ministry invites you to join the team! This is a dynamic ministry with many roles and a unique way of loving our neighbors. This ministry believes in walking alongside neighbors, building relationships with them through the various home repair processes which include:
- Walking alongside neighbors in preparing necessary home repair paperwork
- Walking alongside neighbors in planning and purchasing their home repair supplies
- Skilled home repair volunteers who can teach and lead other volunteers
- Teaching neighbors basic home repair skills to take care of their homes on their own
- Bringing a meal to a working team and joining in social time with neighbors
This ministry is for males and females alike. We are a Christian role model of loving service and relationships while also providing home repair needs. This role has varying days and times based on the type of project and the neighbor and volunteer schedules. Beginner and skilled workers welcome! We are looking for a lead on this project as well.
