RCS Empowers individuals with disabilities and special needs so that they may work, live, and function with dignity and respect.
Each year since 1982, RCS has produced a play that features our participants and talented local volunteer actors. This opportunity is to help make props for our play that will be presented in April. RCS will be offering open volunteerism every “Tuesday Afternoon Play Volunteers for SHREK.” The volunteer opportunity will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. every Tuesday starting on Tuesday, January 21, until project completion. Volunteers do not need to commit to the entire time frame. We do ask for a two-hour minimum commitment.
No art experience is necessary to help us create play props for the production of Shrek Jr. A variety of craft tasks will be performed, including painting, sponging, paper mache, cutting out objects, etc.… all conducted with guidance from our amazing Art Therapist Laura Griffin. Groups are welcome. Need an excellent team-building activity; this is it! Please Contact Laura Griffin at 920-458-8261 Extension 1287 to let her know you are coming and how many people to expect. We have a secure facility for the safety of those we serve, so providing Laura with your name or names in your group will make check-in easy.
