June Activity Plant Seeds and Seedlings
All Activities will be set up near the Teal Farmers Market Information Tent (on 8th St. in Sheboygan across from Nikki’s Nex 2 New & it will be more visible at the Plymouth Market)unless otherwise indicated based on demand.
The goal is for the children to take lead in being creative and getting their hands dirty in the activity. Volunteers are there to assist, give encouragement and build confidence.
Volunteers should arrive 20 mins prior to the start time to help with set up and to get acclimated to the project.
Zelda- The Farmers Market Manager (will be wearing a teal t-shirt) will have all of the supplies, volunteers should bring their own chairs.

Volunteers
- Parents/Guardian/adult representative, needs to complete the sign in sheet for each child. This helps us track how many children participated for future planning and reporting. It also gives us permission to use the children’s photos in our marketing.
- Assist Children in adding soil and planting seed or seedling to their cup, explaining about the produce they choose and what to expect as they watch it grow
Help share about farming and how this process is done in bulk
