This year Catholic Charities is assisting in the coordination of the 'Help for the Homeless' event and we could use your help!
Beginning on February 16th, we need volunteers to help distribute donation boxes to local business. Can you spare an hour or two?
What is the Help for the Homeless drive?
The ‘Help for the Homeless’ hygiene drive is organized by The Family 91.3 FM radio station and works with area homeless coalitions every spring to stock the shelves of 89 homeless and crisis programs in 15 Wisconsin communities in their listening areas.
The goal of ‘Help for the Homeless’ is to supply a year’s worth of product to each agency. Last season, generous community members donated $406,000 worth of laundry soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. to their local crisis programs.
