A.N.G.E.L. Care Team:
- Provide bedside support to those who are actively passing
- Offer respite to tired family members
- Be a calming presence for families and their loved one
- Be available quickly as needed
- Provide a tentative schedule when you are most likely available
- Just "be there" for our patients during the final hours/days of life
- Believes: No should die alone!

A.N.G.E.L.S. consists of Volunteers that provide bedside support to our patients with a calming presence during the final days and hours of life. Volunteers can read, pray, hold their hand and just "be there" for our patients during the final hours/days of life. These volunteers are needed on a quick response basis to give respite to the family or when family is not present. No one should die alone.
This position is as needed. When someone is in the last days of life, the coordinator would contact you to ask if you have any availability to help. We realize you have other things in your life and it is always OK to say no. Patients are either in their home or a care facility.
