Kindred Heart Families, Inc is hosting our annual Fostering Hope and Comfort Event for Foster Families, Kinship Families, Legally Appointed Guardians, and Grandparents raising Grandchildren. Families will be able to select items for the children in their care, including clothing, shoes, winter-wear items, feeding accessories, toys, books, games & puzzles, bathing items, diapers & wipes, and more.
Kindred Heart Families, Inc is also looking to create Turkey Baskets for our families, consisting of a Turkey, Potatoes, Gravy, Can Vegetables, Dinner Rolls, Cranberry Sauce, Stuffing, Desserts... Thanking them for all that they do to help our future generation.
Kindred Heart Families, Inc. is seeking volunteers to help support our Fostering Hope and Comfort Event to be held November 23rd at Christian High School in Sheboygan WI in the following ways:
Volunteer Lead – Meeting with Volunteers upon arrival, Have Volunteers check in / fill out forms, Tell Volunteers their roles, Help Volunteers with Questions, etc. - NEED 1 Volunteer from 11am to 5pm
AND
Floor Help –Help families with their immediate needs, Help keep shelves, racks, tables clean and organized, Help find missing Tags / Item to replace tags - NEED 2 Volunteers from 11am to 2pm and 2 Volunteers from 2pm to 5pm
AND
Check Out Help – Remove Hangers from Clothing, Register item number for items going out, Fill out family’s vouchers, Bag / Box up family’s items - NEED 9 Volunteers from 11am to 2pm & 9 Volunteers from 2pm to 5pm
AND
Turkey Basket Distribution – Help families receive their Thanksgiving Turkey Basket - NEED 4 Volunteers from 11am to 5pm
AND
Hands On Helpers – Help families take items to their cars, Help volunteers run errands, Help Volunteers get drinks / snacks - NEED 2 Volunteers from 11am to 5pm
AND
Children Activity Table – Help keep little ones busy while families “shop” with Arts and Crafts Table - NEED 3 Volunteers from 11am to 2pm & 3 Volunteers from 2pm to 5pm
We truly appreciate all our volunteers who wish to lend a hand in helping Kindred Heart Families, Inc provide an amazing experience and loving atmosphere for our foster / kinship families. All volunteers will be provided snacks, drinks and a meal during their volunteer hours.
