Volunteer Reception Centers (VRC) are a critical component to managing a spontaneous volunteer workforce in emergency response and recovery.
The purpose is to help make sure that the community can get the volunteers that they need in the right place at the right time with the correct skills to get the job done.
People who volunteer for this opportunity will work in collaboration with Emergency Responders to register, credential and assign community volunteers to the needs identified by the Emergency Operations Center.
