Volunteer: Seeking Engaged Board Members!

Join the SCIO Board of Directors

The Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization (SCIO) is seeking new members to join our Board of Directors — and we especially want to hear from people with backgrounds in IT/technology, marketing, and nonprofit management.

This is a working board, not an advisory one. Board members roll up their sleeves alongside our small staff to help drive the organization forward. As a board member, you'll play an active role in:

Fundraising — helping plan and support efforts that keep our programs running Organizational strategy — shaping the direction and priorities of SCIO Relationship building — strengthening connections with community partners, congregations, and volunteers

Whether you bring technical skills, marketing savvy, nonprofit experience, or simply a passion for community impact, your contribution can help SCIO continue serving Sheboygan County.

Interested? Reach out to our Board President to learn more about current openings and next steps, president@sheboygancountyinterfaith.org

Volunteer: Share a Meal at Bridgeway

Do you enjoy cooking? We would love to have you come and share a meal with our residents!

What is a Meal Share?

Share your evening with the Bridgeway families by participating in a Meal Share.

Organize a group (church, work, book club, friends, teams) or come on your own. Gather the food supplies needed for a meal. Then come to Bridgeway to prepare the meal with our moms while sharing in conversation and the enjoyment of a large family environment.

Meal time begins at 5:30 Sunday through Friday (can be flexible if needed). We welcome you to have dinner with the families residing at Bridgeway and experience a day in the life of the women and children who are changing their lives with hard work and the help of people like you.

Meals can also be dropped of if you would prefer.

What should I bring?

You should bring all the food items needed for the dinner you plan.  You are invited to also bring additional donation items if you desire although this is not required.

If you or someone in your group is a Thrivent Financial Member, we encourage you to lead a Thrivent Action Team for your meal share.

Email Lisa at Lisa@sheboygancountyinterfaith.org or call 920-457-7272 ext. 118, to set up a date and time for your meal share.
