The mission of the Live Forever Project is engaging communities to keep the memories of elders alive through the power of the arts.
The Live Forever Project (LFP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created by a group of artists and teachers from the Sheboygan area of Wisconsin. Our mission is to keep the memories of elders alive by collecting and sharing true stories through the arts. We gather life stories from elders in our community. Together, we reflect upon and gain inspiration from these life stories. LFP then preserves and shares the stories by turning them into various art forms such as theater, music, songwriting, dance, poetry, and visual art and presenting them to the public. In this way, the stories and people will live on forever.
