  •  The Volunteer Ombudsman Program strengthens the advocacy services provided by the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program for people living in designated nursing homes.
  • A Volunteer Ombudsman must have an abundance of Caring, Concern and Commitment to advocate for older persons.

What We Do

  • Volunteer Ombudsmen are advocates for seniors in long term care.

 

  • Make weekly unannounced visits to an assigned nursing home.
