Who We Are
We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization governed by a civilian volunteer board. Our mission: Sheboygan Neighborhood Pride joins with, unites and serves citizens, community organizations, and law enforcement to reduce crime and improve the quality of life in the community. Our vision is a community of safe and vibrant neighborhoods. We were organized in 2003 as a grass roots effort to help improve the quality of life in Sheboygan. Since that time we have assisted eight neighborhoods to become formal neighborhood associations and are currently working with four additional neighborhoods which are in various stages of becoming a formal association.
What We Do
We assist geographical neighborhoods in the City of Sheboygan to organize. The goal is to eventually become a formal neighborhood association recognized by the City of Sheboygan. We assist in planning and moderating meetings by collaborating with Sheboygan Police neighborhood officers. We help neighbors get to know one another and learn how to work together to make their neighborhood a safe and beautiful place to live. We take a "hands on" approach and get to meet and interact with so many wonderful people living in the City of Sheboygan.
We are looking to add to our volunteer board of directors. Are you interested in working with neighbors in various parts of the City who would like to form a neighborhood group? Do you like to meet and interact with people? If you do, please contact Penny Weber, President at plweber@charter.net or call 920-698-0358.
