Who We Are
We are Volunteers who develop and maintain the Peace Park located on 3rd St., Michigan Ave. and Broughton Drive on Sheboygan's lakefront. Volunteers are welcomed to join and help us bring the plans for the Park to life.
We need volunteers in spring, summer and fall to assist with weeding, watering and mulching the gardens at the Park, to assist with events and to share the word about the park and the benefits of having a place of peace in our community.
Throughout the year, we need volunteers to paint Peace Rocks, to plan future events or to assist with our fundraising efforts and community outreach.
Please contact us to see how you can help with our efforts.
What We Do
Inspire a more peaceful world through the development and beautification of Sheboygan Peace Park.
Throughout the spring, summer and fall, we sponsor a variety of events at the park and in Sheboygan. With Alliance for the Great Lakes, we hold a spring and fall beach clean-up at Deland Beach. In August, we participate in the annual Unity Day at Fountain Park and Peace Park. We have held Memorial Day programs and concerts and events through the summer at the park. We have walked in the July 4th and Brat Days parades with the Peace Train and had booths at Pride Day, Juneteenth Day, MakerFaire and the Farmer's Market.
We are always looking for interested folks to join us in planning events, as well as weeding and watering the gardens or helping us spread Peace.
