At INSPIRE Sheboygan County, we help connect students to career experiences. Often times it's easiest to bring those career experiences to the school as guest speakers.
Serving as a guest speaker in the classroom helps students to:
- Identify possible career interests and career fit.
- Understanding the daily routines of adult workers.
- Gain awareness of academic, technical, and soft skills required for careers.
- Learn about companies and the careers offered locally.
- Develop and apply communication skills through interaction with professionals.
- Understand the connection between academic achievement, careers, and achieving goals.
