Want to help others? You've come to the right place! At the Literacy Council, we need volunteers to help our adult learners reach their reading, writing, and speaking goals. You do not need prior teaching experience to become a tutor--just a desire to help, a high school diploma, and 1-2 hours/week to give. We offer free training and will pair you with a compatible adult student.
There are two nights of training:
Monday, January 22, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, January 24, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Volunteers must attend both nights of training. Dinner will be provided.
