We are looking for volunteers for our Hospice patients across Southeast Wisconsin. Hospice volunteers can offer companionship to our patients by offering friendly conversation and company, assisting with craft activities, sitting with patients at bedside, and more. We are flexible with location of visits and schedule- with patients residing in Fond du Lac, Washington, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Sheboygan and Milwaukee counties. Let us know what works best for you!
Orientation and training is provided by Preceptor to ensure all our volunteers are prepared for their first independent friendly visit. Regular support is given to all volunteers by our Preceptor team- communication and collaboration are important to us! We are a team- including our valued volunteers!
Qualifications
Background Check (completed by Preceptor)
Urinalysis Drug Screen (completed by Preceptor)
TB Testing (conducted locally)
Valid/Current Auto Insurance
