Description

Rebuilding Together Sheboygan County (RTSC) is seeking a volunteer Project Lead to take charge of small-to-medium sized home repair projects for our low-income homeowner clients. The Project Lead will coordinate, supervise, and support a small team of volunteers to complete various home repair projects, ensuring that all tasks are conducted safely, efficiently, and with quality workmanship. The Project Lead represents RTSC and plays an important role in helping our clients continue to live in a safe, warm, and dry home. This volunteer position is ideal for individuals who are organized, self-motivated, and with a desire to lead hands-on home repair projects that directly impact the safety and well-being of less fortunate community members.

The Project Lead is a part-time volunteer role, with a significant level of control over their own schedule, work hours, and times. Projects are typically structured to require only one four- to six-hour day. The Project Lead has the option to accept or reject any project that he/she is asked to lead. The majority of activities happen on weekdays, and usually only during daytime hours. Most projects can be completed in a single day, but more complex projects will occasionally require additional time. Project Leads are expected to commit to the entirety of each project they accept.
