Position Overview

Rebuilding Together Sheboygan County (RTSC) is looking for a creative storyteller to help us bring our mission to life online.  The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for developing, scheduling, and publishing engaging content (graphics, videos, stories) across social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook to increase community awareness of the work of RTSC.   


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media posts.

  • Attend various social functions and project implementations to capture content (ex. before and after transformation pictures or videos of homes).

  • Share stories that highlight RTSC’s impact, and community partnerships.

  • Maintain the various social media accounts for RTSC.


Qualifications

  • Social media fluency and computer skills

  • Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or mobile video editing tools.

  • Strong writing skills for crafting compelling captions and engaging narratives.

  • Dependable, creative, detail-oriented, and team-spirted approach.

  • Access to a smart phone with a good camera and a laptop.

The Social Media Content Creator is a part-time, volunteer role, and each volunteer maintains a significant level of control over their own schedule and volunteer hours.  Rebuilding projects implantations are performed during daylight hours when interviews and content can be obtained.
