Looking for a meaningful way to start your Thursday mornings? Join us at Sheboygan Senior Community as a volunteer to escort residents to our weekly on-site church services. We’re seeking kind-hearted individuals to help push residents in wheelchairs to and from church services in our building.
When: Thursdays, 9:30–11:30 AM
Along the way, you’ll have the chance to connect with residents and share in a peaceful, uplifting part of their week.
What you’ll do:
- Escort residents to the church service and back to their rooms
- Enjoy the service if you’d like
- Offer a friendly presence and a helping hand
What we’re looking for:
- Friendly, dependable volunteers who enjoy working with older adults
- Comfortable walking and pushing wheelchairs
- Clear communication skills
- Completion of a background check and brief orientation
