Do you enjoy reading aloud and sharing quiet moments? Some of our residents at Sheboygan Senior Community receive mail but need a little help reading it. We’re looking for compassionate volunteers to visit once a week—on a schedule that works for you—and read letters, cards, and other correspondence to residents who would truly appreciate the company.
Flexible timing: You choose the day and time that fits your schedule. This is a wonderful way to connect, share stories, and brighten someone’s week!
What we’re looking for:
- Kind, patient volunteers who enjoy one-on-one time with older adults
- Clear reading and communication skills
- Willingness to complete a background check and brief orientation
