On Saturday July 8th, Safe Harbor will be partnering with Plymouth Professional Business Women for the Cheesehead Chase! We are in need of course guides to help show the runners and walkers where to go on the 5 mile and 2 mile routes. It's a great way to cheer on your family and friends who are participating while supporting survivors in our community.
What are you signing up for?
-Arrive at St. John Lutheran Church’s Parking Lot in Plymouth (corner of Smith Street & East Main Street) between 7:30am and 7:45am. Please have transportation (vehicle, bike, skates, or a friend) ready to go!
-We will have a volunteer table where you will be assigned a spot on the route, usually a turn or corner on the route. Depending on distance, you may need to walk or drive to their spot.
-We will provide you with water, route maps and safety vests, and encourage you to wear yellow/ cheese themed clothing and bring signs cheering the runners on!
-Once all the run/walk participants go by your spot, head back to the church to drop off your vest and you are free to enjoy the rest of your day. Most volunteers are done by 9:30- 10am.
Families of all ages, groups and well-behaved pets are welcome to join us!
