Elevate is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Handyman to support the daily operations of our Crisis Services office. This role ensures our facilities remain safe, clean, functional, and welcoming for clients, staff, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lift, move, and assemble furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Perform light maintenance tasks (minor repairs, changing light fixtures, basic plumbing fixes, etc.)
- Shovel snow and maintain safe walkways during winter months
- Complete light cleaning duties and assist with facility up keep
- Conduct routine building checks to identify and address maintenance needs
- Support special projects and office setup as requested
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (50+ lbs)
- Basic maintenance and repair skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to safety and detail
