Bring your long-handled pruners and/or hand saw to cut back invading non-native buckthorn in the Haskell Noyes State Natural Area. Haskell Noyes is a climax forest that has not seen logging. Wear long pants, long sleeves, a hat, and gloves. Tuck your pants into your socks and bring insect repellant. Remember to bring snacks and drinking water. You can come either September 12 or 19 or both.
