Bring your long-handled pruners and/or hand saw to tackle non-native buckthorn, autumn olive, and honeysuckle along the Tamarack Trail around Mauthe Lake. Wear long pants, long sleeves, gloves, and a hat. Tuck your pants into your socks and remember insect repellant. Bring a snack and drinking water. The low spots on the trail may be wet, so waterproof boots may be helpful.
