RCS Empowers holds an annual special needs prom. On Prom Shopping day we open up the closets and provide donated prom attire for attendees of the prom. Volunteers assist individuals with choosing the outfit of their dreams. Volunteers will assist prom-goers in the selection of their garment and will help them try the attire on at prom shopping day. We need individuals with sewing skills to assist in pinning the garments to help fit the items and will then be able to alter the items at their convenience. The final altered items need to be returned to RCS by October 14, 2019, a few days before prom.
There are two shifts available to assist on prom shopping day.
