GLC recently removed two culverts that prevented fish migration on Willow Creek! The final steps of this project will be to plant native trees and shrubs in these areas, and Arbor Day is the perfect time to do so! With the help of local 4th grade students, GLC staff will be planting native trees and shrubs on Willow Creek Preserve along the creek! GLC Volunteer Naturalist, David Kuckuk will be leading us on an educational hike. Stop by Willow Creek Preserve from 9:00 to 1:00 on May 2nd to see the transformation of these areas and celebrate environmental education.
