Rock the Block is a neighborhood revitalization event organized by Habitat for Humanity Lakeside, along with several community partners, that provides affordable financing for exterior home repairs and community projects in a designated neighborhood. Our 2022 Rock the Block event will take place in Sheboygan's Gateway Neighborhood. Registration crew volunteers will help check volunteers in as they arrive. This will include handing out t-shirts, helping individuals fill out volunteer waivers and letting volunteers know their assignment for the day and where their morning meeting will take place.
Volunteers must be 14 or older. Those who are 14-17 have restrictions on what they can do and an adult to youth ratio. If this might apply to your situation or if you have any other questions about the event, please reach out to Lorrigan directly at lpuls@habitatlakeside.com.
