We need many volunteers to make our Fall Fest on October 15 a super success. Below is a list of the tasks with which we need help.
Set Up Crew 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
We need a crew to help get everything set up for the event from putting up tents and setting out luminaires to washing pumpkins and arranging tables.
Talented Bakers – Bakery items dropped off by 2:00 p.m. at Mauthe Lake.
The Friends of the Kettle Moraine will be selling pumpkin and apple baked goods along with caramel apple sundaes and fresh apple cider. We need bakers willing donate some of their tasty treats for the sale.

Located in picnic shelter will three crafts for participants to create: Goose Kazoos, Craft Stick Puzzles, Spinning Tops
Charismatic Costume Characters (a total of 10 to 15 people) – 3:30-8:15 p.m.
These folks bring the whole theme of “Forest Menagerie” to life. We provide the costume and script.
Out-going Hike Leaders (about 12 people) – 3:30-8:15 p.m.
Lead groups of people to meet the “Forest Menagerie” and manage the flow of people on the trail.
Trail Tenders
Trail Tenders patrol the character trail to keep the luminaries lit, check on the characters well-being, and tend any other trail needs.
Smiling Food Servers
Help the Friends of the Kettle Moraine sell snacks at their Snack Stand.
Contest Coordinators/Judges
A coordinator is needed for the costume contest and another for the pumpkin carving contest. We also need some unbiased judges for both contests.
Miscellaneous, But Important Helpers
There are miscellaneous tasks with which we need help including staffing the information/trail sign up tent, watching over the pumpkin carving, tending the fires, and taking photographs.
