Hello Lovely Volunteers!
GLC was recently donated 600+ milkweed plugs that need to find their forever home on both our Willow Creek Preserve (Sheboygan) and our Spring Preserve (Two Rivers). These plugs were delivered to us Thursday of this week and we need to get them into the ground as soon as possible! That said, this is our last minute request for some volunteers to assist with planting and watering on July 11th from 8AM to 12PM at Willow Creek and from 1PM to 5PM at Spring Preserve. If you would be able to help or know of anyone who might be able to, please let me know which preserve you would like to help at and how many people we can expect, also please include emails of those who can be there for more details. GLC will have shovels, watering devices, and extra gloves. If you happen to have a spare trowel that you could bring, that would be helpful as well (we have heard it is easier for planting plugs).
