No art ability needed. You will draw portraits of different pet that are submitted to our fundraiser. We will supply you a picture of an animal from Facebook and you will do your best to draw the animal. We take a photo of the finished drawing and post it to the owner’s comment. Your name does not go on the art. Recipients don’t know if they are going to get a professionally drawn portrait of their pet or a stick figure with eyes. That is the fun part of this fundraiser. Join us in the community room at the Humane Society for some fun and a lot of laughs. There is nothing like a room full of people who are passionate about saving pets in their community. Want to volunteer and do it by yourself or as a group at a remote location? We can accommodate that too! Please note in the comments when you sign up that you want to do remote and we will contact you to let you know what pets need to be drawn. Then you can post to Facebook or you can send us the completed photo and we will post it.
**All volunteers coming into the shelter to volunteer must be 18 or over unless accompanied by an adult. **Students under 18 and classes can do remote volunteering from their classrooms or home by calling Jody at 920-458-2012 Extension 101.
The Humane Society of Sheboygan County receives no city, state, or federal funds. We rely solely on donations to keep our door open and the lights on to care for homeless animals in Sheboygan County. This year marks the 60th year of serving Sheboygan county.
