United Way's Emerging Leaders Steering Committee is hosting a volunteer opportunity that needs your muscle and positive charm!
Annually, Community Partnership for Children (CPC) hosts upwards of XX nonprofit agencies at Fountain Park for a day of fun and family resource sharing; AKA: Family Fun Fest!
With that many booths for each agency, we are looking for volunteers willing to join the Emerging Leaders Steering Committee to help agencies bring their activities from their cars to their booth and then back again at the end of the event.
Shifts are:
- MORNING SHIFT 7:45a to 9:30a | Looking for 6 volunteers to help lift items from people's cars to their agency booth spots. Volunteers would also be in charge of keeping drop-offs moving so we can filter in all of the agencies.
- DURING THE EVENT 9a to 1p | Looking for 4 volunteers to help serve Culver's Custard to families during the event.
- AFTERNOON SHIFT 12:30p to 2p | Looking for 6 volunteers to help lift items from agency booth spots to their cars to pack up for the day. Volunteers would also be in charge of keeping pick-ups moving so we can filter in all of the agencies.
