The ADRC of Sheboygan County provides Health & Wellness Outreach to senior citizens throughout the county. Volunteer Leaders attend training for the workshop they are interested in leading, at no cost. Programs include: Tai Chi (two different programs), Falls Prevention, Walking, Strength Training, and Technology (how to use a smartphone, etc.), among others. Programs are scheduled at the discretion of the volunteer and community needs. Volunteer may also assist with program marketing and related office duties. Mileage reimbursement provided for training and program facilitation. Both in-person and virtual training/delivery are available for most programs.
