Sundae on the Farm is the annual fundraiser so that Diamond Vu can provide quality educational programming on the farm. We are expecting 4,000 attendees from Manitowoc, Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, Washington, and Sheboygan counties and our goal is to educate the community on all different aspects of Wisconsin agriculture. We have all different types of animals to learn about, from alpacas to honeybees, and everything in between. We also have other learning stations such as lavender to herbs to soybeans and corn. We will also have a live band (Brent Bel and the Boys) and an old fashioned hog roast. This is a very large undertaking so we always need volunteers.
We would need help with parking cars, the food stand, handing out free milk, and helping with pumpkin painting station. The pumpkin painting station entials putting paint on a paper plate, assisting kids with painting, and spraying a clear coat on so that the paint dries quickly. then labeling the pumpkin with the child's name. all materials will be provided. I would wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
