Throughout Anokijig's nearly 400 acres of rolling hills and woodlands, we host miles and miles of hiking/horseback riding trails, not to mention the many gravel roads that are the connective tissue for all our programming. With that much ground to cover, our staff cannot keep up with Mother Nature. Help keep our trails and roads trimmed and functioning!
Close toed shoes required for this project. Bug spray and sunscreen highly suggested! Long pants suggested; volunteers may come into contact with poison ivy. Clippers and work gloves provided. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own work gloves, but no power tools, please!
NOTE: this project will require bending, twisting, reaching, and walking on hillside/uneven surfaces.
