Description

Help keep Camp Anokijig's miles of scenic trails safe, beautiful, and ready for adventure! Join our Trail Trimming Crew as we clear overgrown brush, trim branches, and maintain the hiking and horseback riding trails that thousands of campers and guests enjoy each year.

Volunteers will work together to improve trail visibility, remove low-hanging branches, trim back vegetation, and help preserve the natural beauty of our wooded landscape. Whether you're an avid hiker, horse lover, or simply enjoy working outdoors, your efforts will make a lasting difference for everyone who explores Anokijig's trails.

What to Bring:

  • Work gloves (optional. Camp will provide for anyone without)

  • Closed-toe shoes or sturdy boots

  • Long pants (suggested in the case of prickers, poison ivy, etc.)

  • Sunscreen & bug spray

We'll provide the tools, equipment, and guidance needed for the day. No trail maintenance experience is necessary—just a willingness to work outdoors and help care for one of Camp Anokijig's greatest natural resources.

Every branch trimmed and every trail cleared helps create safer, more enjoyable adventures for hikers, horseback riders, outdoor education groups, and summer campers. Thank you for helping keep Anokijig's trails open for exploration!
