Description

Help protect and preserve Camp Anokijig for years to come! Join our Staining Crew as we refresh and protect camp buildings and outdoor structures with a fresh coat of stain.

This project helps extend the life of camp facilities while keeping Anokijig looking its best for campers, families, school groups, and visitors. Whether you're an experienced painter or picking up a brush for the first time, there's a role for everyone. Volunteers will assist with surface preparation, staining, and cleanup.

What to Bring:

  • Work clothes you don't mind getting stained

  • Closed-toe shoes

  • Work gloves (optional; Camp can provide)

  • Hat, sunscreen, bug spray

We'll provide the stain, brushes, rollers, and all necessary supplies. No previous experience is required—just a willingness to lend a hand.

Every log you stain helps protect Camp Anokijig from the elements and preserves the welcoming spaces where friendships are formed, memories are made, and traditions continue. Thank you for helping ensure our camp remains beautiful and well cared for for generations to come!
