Who We Are

Bay-Lakes Council is one of the largest Scouting America Councils in the Midwest. We provide programs and services to over 27,000 young people in 35 counties from East Central Wisconsin. We have over 320 Cub Scout Packs, 230 Boy Scout Troops, 90 Venture Crews and 75 Explorer Posts. Over 6,000 adult volunteers in our Council give their time and effort to prepare young people to be the leaders of tomorrow helping them develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills and citizenship skills that will positively influence their decisions as adults.

What We Do

The mission of the Bay-Lakes Council, Scouting America, is to develop leadership traits in both youth and adults. We will accomplish our Mission by fostering an atmosphere that: • Inspires people to adopt lifelong positive values. • Encourages service to society and community. • Promotes fun and adventure. • Instills love of God and country, and • Embodies the ideals represented by the Scout Oath and Law.
