Safe Harbor excited to partner with the United Way's Day of Caring!
We are seeking individual volunteers and teams to help distribute posters about identifying sex trafficking to local businesses. Volunteers will be provided with training and information, as well as a specific list of businesses to visit. Having a vehicle is an important part of reaching the places on your list.
Why is this volunteer opportunity important?
The Ryder Cup will be taking place at the end of September, and large sporting events are attractive to traffickers. By providing resources to community businesses, we are helping to create awareness and giving bystanders confidence to report if they are seeing warning signs of trafficking. One poster or conversation could change a life!
